How I Got Over My Doubts And Fears And How You Can Get Over Yours.

It’s not always recognizable when our doubts and fears are controlling our lives. When we don’t want to leave our comfort zone. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a comfort zone if you don’t expect more from yourself. After I managed to get rid of my doubts and fears, I found myself in a more relaxed state and more willing to make risks.  


How Our Fears affect us. 

It always bothered me when I would go on social media like facebook and see one of my old highschool classmates doing miraculous things, and I would always assume that it was just luck on their end. That they knew exactly what they were doing. All I would do is wish that one day it would be me but I was too scared.  

  • I was too scared to travel because I don’t want to go alone.  
  • I was too scared to make investments because they may cost me.  
  • I was too scared to go back to school because I didn’t want to waste time on a degree I didn’t want.  
  • I was too scared to start a blog because I didn’t want to commit and I doubt nobody would read my content. 

What do all three of those statements have in common?  

Fear and doubt.  

Our fears and doubts can actually stop us from pursuing everything that we want because we don’t believe that we can actually do it. In our heads are constant “what ifs” or the possibility of all things that could go wrong. I’m here to tell you, let it go…. 


Why Do Our Fears Affect Us? 

Our fears affect us because we give them permission.  

We accept the defeat by our fears because it’s easier than actually taking out the time to plan and figure out what exactly it takes to achieve the things that we want to do.  

Also  we’re too comfortable in our comfort zone.  

The routine becomes the same: 

To the same people, to the same life that it’s actually very difficult for some of us to open up, allowing better things to penetrate our lives.  

We lack faith in ourselves to tell ourselves. ” Look, it’s time to stop thinking about everything that could go wrong and for once thinking about what could actually go right!” 

We don’t actually listen to ourselves enough because we think we already know who we are pretty well. To be honest some of us don’t. 


What To Do To Get Rid Of Your Fears 


Have faith. You don’t have to be religious to even have faith. Have faith with thought of things actually, going right. Just believe in your heart that you have the potential to overcome any obstacle thrown your way.  

For starter my power steering kept going in and out because these newer models it’s electrical. I took it to the dealership but they couldn’t duplicate the issue. So, they couldn’t do nothing about it. Well it was a major safety issue and I was afraid of driving my car again. The representative that I spoke to about this then said they would go ahead and program the power steering module. My car stayed there all day until I had to go to work.  

Throughout the day, I kept getting upset and anxious but I had to keep reminding myself that I had to keep my faith. I told myself “I got a new car so then I wouldn’t have to put money it, but if I have to keep putting money in it then I don’t want it.” A minute after I said that I realized not once had I put money in my car since I had it. (I had for a year). When I got my car back which this happened about 2 months ago. I haven’t had the problem since.  

I’m a big believer that once you get rid of doubt and worry and start making friends with faith everything will work out in your favor.  

Stop giving into your fears. When there’s an opportunity for improvement, if you feel like it will suit you just fine then go ahead and take it.  

  • Trust your intuition.  

I honestly wish I had trusted my gut a little bit more sooner because I missed a whole lot of opportunities by staying in my comfort zone. Just remember it isn’t working if it isn’t growing.  

  • Positive Outcomes 

When you find yourself in a situation that requires a decision think of the pros that could come out of it. Ask yourself: 

  1. How Will it benefit me? 
  1. Will this affect me long-term or short-term? 
  1. Will this be beneficial to my personal growth? 

At the end of the day you have to live with the decisions you make. When I went to seminars about how to make residual income the positive vibes that I received from it actually managed to make me look into how to improve my life on a positive scale.  


  • Surround yourself with people who impact you in a positive manner. 

You have to find people who are going to support, coach, and mentor you. These are the kinds of people who aren’t going to allow you to live with your fears and would rather help you get rid of them.  

Positive people influence us. Those are the people you will look up to.
